TruBeauté is Trouvé — an AI-powered digital drag mom designed for trans-femme, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks (everyone is welcome, though). You upload a selfie, Trouvé generates a routine, and you can practice the steps in our AR mirror with optional voice guidance. We are not a medical service, a therapist, or a beauty school. We are software that helps you celebrate yourself.

To create an account with TruBeauté (where we store your routines, snapshots, and settings) you must be 13 years or older. This is a US COPPA requirement and similar rules apply under GDPR — it's about data collection, not about who can wear makeup.

Younger users (or anyone who'd rather skip an account) can use Stealth Mode — every routine and snapshot stays on your device, never sent to our servers. Trouvé still generates your routine in the moment, but nothing is stored on our side. Stealth Mode has no age requirement.

If we discover that someone under 13 has created an account, we'll delete it and any data we collected, no questions asked. You can report a concern to hello@trubeaute.com.

Trouvé runs on OpenAI's GPT-4o vision model to generate personalized routines. The AI is enthusiastic and well-trained, but it can be wrong. Treat its suggestions as inspiration, not medical, dermatological, or psychological advice. If you have allergies, skin conditions, or concerns about a product ingredient, talk to a doctor or a real-life makeup artist.

We've built safety guardrails (no diagnostic claims, no gendering of features as "masculine" or "feminine," no body-shape comments) but no AI is perfect. If a routine ever feels off, please use the feedback button — that's how we improve.

Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You're responsible for activity on your account, but if you suspect someone else got in, email us right away and we'll lock it.

Don't sign in on someone else's behalf without their permission, and don't try to break, scrape, or overload the service.

The free tier includes 3 routines per month. The Pro tier (paid monthly via Stripe) is unlimited. You can cancel any time from your settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds within the first 7 days, no questions asked. After that, email hello@trubeaute.com and we'll handle it case-by-case. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see your card number.

When you tap a "Shop" button on a product card, you're sent to the brand's or retailer's site through a tracked affiliate link. If you buy something, TruBeauté may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Affiliate status does not change which products Trouvé recommends. The catalog is curated for inclusivity, accessibility, and quality.

You own your selfies and any feedback you submit. Selfies are sent once to OpenAI to generate your routine, then discarded (we don't keep them on our servers). Snapshots from AR mirror mode that you choose to save are stored on your account, encrypted at rest, until you delete them.

Feedback you submit (free-text or star ratings) may be used to improve the service and may be shared in aggregate (e.g. "users rated 4.6/5 on average") but never with your name attached.

• Uploading selfies of people who haven't consented — your face only, please.
• Using TruBeauté to harass, mock, or out anyone (including yourself in a moment of dysphoria; please be gentle with you).
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or rebuilding the service.
• Anything illegal in your jurisdiction.

If we see this happening, we'll suspend the account and may delete its data.

The full details are in our Privacy Policy. Short version: we encrypt PII at rest, we don't run third-party trackers, we never sell your data, and you can export or delete everything from Settings at any time.

We may update these terms (e.g. when we add a new feature or a new payment method). When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and — for material changes — send an in-app notice or an email to active users. Continued use after the change means you accept the new version.

TruBeauté is provided "as is." We try our hardest to keep it working, accurate, and safe, but we can't guarantee perfect uptime, perfect AI output, or that the service will fit every person's needs.

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to TruBeauté is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. (For free-tier users, that's $0.)

We'd much rather talk than litigate. If you have a complaint, email hello@trubeaute.com and we'll work toward a resolution. If we can't resolve it informally, disputes will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TruBeauté is incorporated, and any formal proceedings will happen there.

Thank you for being here. The whole point of TruBeauté is to make a small, soft corner of the internet feel like home. These terms exist so we can keep doing that.
